Residents of the United Arab Emirates will be happy to be allowed to drive in almost 50 countries without the need for an international driver's license. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the list of countries has increased from Austria, Slovakia, Luxembourg, China, Finland, Romania, Denmark and Serbia, which was previously recognized, bringing the total number of countries to nearly 50 countries.
The countries that UAE residents are allowed to drive without the need for an international driving license are:
Island of the Moon
Morocco, West, sunset
Sultanate of Oman
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
United States of America
UAE, France, Japan, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Sweden, Austria, Ireland, Norway, Turkey, Canada, Poland, South Korea, Finland , South Africa and Australia, can easily change their driving license from their home country to the UAE license without undergoing rigorous driving tests.
